If you are age above 18 and constantly seeking for good value of investment or complained that the saving rate is too low or wanted to invest in gold, you are welcome to apply for our EzGold Plan. For further EzGold Plan information, you may contact our sales staff.

  • Applicable to all customers aged above 18 years old.
  • Applicable to ONLY Tomei KLCC Twin Tower Gold Wafers with minimum worth of RM3,000 and above.

Yes, you will need to pay 1 (one) time administration fee together with your down payment. The administration fee is RM2.00 only per gram.

No, we will not terminate your EzGold Plan. We will have sales staff to follow up the payment with you.

Yes, custody service will be available for a nominal fee.

Custody service is available 1% per annum.

Yes, it will affect the total value of the gold investment but not the amount you paid.

No penalty fee. Nevertheless, you are required to give us a prior notice of 3 working days. The net proceeds after deducting the outstanding balance will be refunded to you via bank account within 3 working days.

If you default the payment for consecutive 3 months or in the event any single monthly installment remain outstanding for more than three (3) months, the company reserve the right to liquidate your gold and refund to you the balance after deducting the total outstanding amount and fee (if any).

Both modes of settlement are acceptable. Nevertheless, you are required to informed the sales staff for earlier settlement.

Since this is an ad-hoc request, we will give you the gold if there are gold available at branches. Otherwise, we will make available the gold at the designated branches within 3 working day for those branches located within Klang Valley, 7 working days for those located within West Malaysia but outside Klang Valley and 14 working days for those located within East Malaysia.

Once you already collected the gold, any future selling back will follow our existing standard procedures for gold buying back at branches. You may contact/ email to the sales person that assist you throughout the EzGold Plan for further information.

In the reason we reject your application due to some unforeseeable circumstances, we will discuss with Management either fully refund or replacement of other products. For fully refund, the money will refunded via bank account within 3 working days. For replacement of other products, our sales person will contact you accordingly.

No, we will not make available the gold at outlet until you settled the full payment.

Yes, we will make available the gold at the branches for 1 month (“Grace Period”) after you had fully settled the installment in accordance to the schedule. We have the right to transfer the gold back to HQ of no collection is made after the Grace Period. Please refer to answer no. 8 for the collection timeline indicated therein for collection after the Grace Period.

The main differences are:

  • Zero installment Fee;
  • No credit limit check;
  • No storage fee and storage concerned during the installment plan;
  • Customers can liquidate or redeem their gold anytime during the plan (subject to its T&C).
  • Nothing is safer than the gold is on your neighborhood, i.e., not elsewhere but at Tomei’s branches near customers. Customers can take possession of the gold any time at our branches subject to full settlement of the plan and the Grace Period for the delivery arrangement. In Thailand, investor prefer to buy or invest fold with the trusted Jewellers over the bank due to the above reason.
  • No conversion fee and no conversion to physical gold is required. Customers are investing or buying our physical product directly, KLCC wafers. For those gold savings account offered in the market; customers are required to convert it to physical gold. A high conversion fee will be charged and it is subject to its availability.
  • No extra cost and upfront full payment is required for signing up EzGold Plan and pay by installment but subject to one off admin fee (waive during first 3 months after launching). Generally, bank/retailer charge 0.5% – 3% for buying bullion products under 1-year installment plan.
  • No storage Fee or insurance charge and security issues during the EzGold Plan. For safe deposit box, bank generally only liable up to RM10,000 for any one-unit disregard to its size in the event of loss unless customers take up extra insurance coverage. Therefore, it is not advisable to keep high valued items in safe deposit box unless additional insurance is arranged and paid. Therefore, signing up EzGold Plan with Tomei is a good option.
  • Buy back guarantee even during the EzGold Plan.

Q . Who can apply for the EzGold Plan?

Q . Do I need to pay any Administration Fee? How much is it?

A. Yes, you will need to pay 1 (one) time administration fee together with your down payment. The administration fee is RM30 only per plan.

Q. Can I continue to keep my wafer with Tomei after the EzGold Plan?

A. Yes, custody service will be available for a nominal fee

A. Yes, we will make available the gold at the branches for 1 month (“Grace Period”) after you had fully settled the installment in accordance to the schedule.
